About the dresses

The gowns in the shops are NEW!  They have never been worn other than being tried on or used as a floor sample.  For $250-$700 (most are under $500) you can purchase a bridal gown that retailed for $800-$12,000 (sometimes more!).  There are even dresses in the clearance area on the Mezzanine for $58-$358.  We appreciate that our clients recognize that our prices are very fair, therefore also firm.  All bridal gowns end up needing alterations and you may have to do some mending and cleaning to the gown(s) you purchase from Church Street Bridal.  We consider each dress' condition individually during the process and discount according to the needs of the dress so we will not discount further at the time of purchase.  


When ordering a gown over-the-phone/internet the staff will be as specific as possible about the needs of the gowns and will provide photos via email.  We are as accurate as possible but there may be minor issues that we cannot see with the naked eye or things that are considered in very good condition for our shop which does not mean it's in perfect condition.  All sales are final so be sure you consider these things before agreeing to purchase the gown.

Church Street Bridal, Too (located in the basement level of the YWCA building) houses bridesmaid, prom, mother-of-the bride and cocktail gowns. Formal gowns tend to sell for $25-$250.  There are even some deals in the sale room...you might find a dress for as little as $10!

We also carry some flower girl dresses, veils, tiaras and shoes. 

Disclosure:  All sales are final.  Dresses are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.  We cannot hold gowns due to the popularity and high demand.   If you see a gown you want, call 434-847-7751 and ask for Michelle.  CSB accepts Mastercard, Visa and Discover.  As stated above, dresses may have slight flaws or damages and all are recommended to be cleaned.  By purchasing the gown you understand that you were told of these and agree that the sale is final.
